Somebody has
said very realistically that if a nation is to be destroyed then destroy this nation’s education .That nation will be destroyed by
itself .one of the important aspects behind the destruction of education in
Sindh is the duplication of the exams .
The origin of copy culture in Sindh dates from the time of General Ziaul
Haq. It is said that some conspiracy elements first laid the foundation for replication
in the schools of the major cities of Sindh Sitting witnesses we can say that
those elements .have succeeded in their purpose as the culture of replication
has been going on for the last forty years.
Nowadays, the culture of
transcription has become so common that its images have become the embodiment
of social media and these images have been the focus of debate .
As the season of Secondary and higher
secondary examination takes place in Sindh , students are rushing to book
houses .New guides are on the market as well as photocopying machines are
inspected .but there is no problem during photocopying And find these cartidges easily accessible to
schools I remember the moment when I was taking the board exams . my mum phoned
our college vice ,principle and asked me to make a good copy .She was a very
good mum to my mum .Well I remember that moment .
Ashamed to this day , I can not do it .
this is not just my story .It is the story of almost every student of Sindh .
Almost every young copyist of
Sindh goes through this curse of culture and is subsequently ,embarrassed by it
but regrettably ,despite all this , no one raises a strong voice against It, no one invades .Kind regrets ,sorry .
A few days ago in dadu , I met a student who
was going to give a paper early when I asked him : How are the papers doing
brother ? So I was relieved to hear that this copy system is going exactly the
same way .He said that our teachers duplicate themselves so there is no problem
It’s just a moment that goes away .
He goes on to say that even though the school
administration has banned bringing mobiles , we still carry mobiles .We take
photos of the paper through the Whatapp and after a few mintues , the issue of
outside papers begins to appear .
Then I heard them ask , do teachers
nowdays give all solved papers from inside ? so he said no they don’t give it
to everyone they just give to their favourite students if they give everyone
the solved papers then why would anyone
need help from outside I was very suripsed. And the laughter started coming .
Let me tell
you that these teachers make copies because we do not have their appointment
here on the basis of merit , they have to make copies to save their honor so that more students can succeed
and with the. may they also avoid accountability themselves .
Private schools are also one of the major
reasons behind the overcrowding of copy culture in our society . large schools
are transmitting more and more copies to their students so that their students
are successful in getting good numbers .different educational boards buy
positions by giving money but everyone can find out what school or college
student the first and third position came from, and the less understanding
parents are having their children enroll
in these colleges .It not only advertises these educational institutions but
also enhances their business .
